About Us

The Geriatric Care Management Institute is a private training academy providing online specialty certification courses to Case Managers, Social Workers and Occupational Therapist seeking specialty certification in care management and client advocacy.

About the Institute for Geriatric Care Management

The Geriatric Care Management Institute was founded by Kenneth R. Nanni, Ph.D., in response to the closure of the Graduate Geriatric Care Management Certificate offered by the University of Florida, where he previously served as the Program Director. Dr. Nanni graduated from the University of Florida in 1994 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Rehabilitation Services.

After working in several different healthcare delivery settings, he formed his own private practice and became one of the first Private Geriatric / Elder Care Managers in the United States.
Dr. Nanni founded the Institute in order to continue providing much-needed training in the field of Geriatric / Elder Care Management. He is joined by his wife, Elizabeth Nanni, who is an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years of experience in working with geriatric clients. She serves as the primary instructor for the online pre-certification program.
